Dairy Farming & Cows - Where Milk Comes From
Goals and Objectives:
Assessment: Observe and note student speaking and listening skills during topic discussion. Encourage those more reluctant to participate and remind those that are outspoken to allow time for others to speak. Note during the discussion any students who are not participating fully in the discussion or that seem to not understand the points being discussed. Follow-up with these students during the craft working time. Students create their own cow craft representing one of the studied cows and are able to dictate or write one to two sentences about dairy cows. |
Tips for Teachers
Before using any website in the early childhood classroom, teachers will want to explore the site and connecting links prior to the start of the lesson. Be sure information and any links are appropriate for your learning group. Be sure that pages will load properly to avoid frustration and loss of time during the lesson.
